No federal university has paid any earned allowances to its staff - OAU management

The school management has responded to allegations from NASU that they spent 2.8 billion given to them to implement projects rather than paying them there earned allowances. The management has moved swiftly to counter this allegation by saying the 2.8 billion given to them by the federal government in 2013 wasn't meant for the payment of earned allowances saying that No federal university has paid any of its staff earned allowances. The management then went to explain that once the federal government makes the payment of the second tranche of earned allowances they all will get paid IMMEDIATELY
Yesterdays students union congress was filled up to the pillars as students gathered to solve the puzzle created by the OAU NASU and the school management. The congress later agreed that since there is no electricity nor water supply on campus, the only solution is to boycott lectures. In the space of this, The students Union have called on all students to boycott lectures as from today Wednesday 8 2015 henceforth until the matter is resolved
